Thigh muscle wastage is more often than not, a direct result of some form of trauma, injury or immobilisation. When injured, a muscle is unable to ‘work’ and thus the muscle’s strength almost automatically begins to weaken and waste. However weakness can also result in issues such as Knee Pain, instability, decreased function and mobility.
